01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” is a related browser feature that stores data in a similar way. Throughout this notice, we refer to both as “cookies” for brevity.
02What Ledg uses
| Name | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token Keep you signed in after you log in. Without these, the Service cannot function. | Essential | Session / up to 1 year |
ledg-theme Remember your chosen colour theme (light or dark). | Functional | 1 year |
ledg-analytics Aggregated, non-identifying product usage to help us improve the Service. Disabled by default for Quebec residents; opt-in elsewhere. | Analytics | 1 year |
03Third-party cookies
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies in your browser on its own domains during that flow. Those cookies are subject to Google's own privacy and cookie policies. Ledg does not embed advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or social media trackers.
04Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Analytics cookies are opt-in (or opt-out depending on your province) from your account settings under Privacy.
05Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and adjust the effective date at the top.
