01Summary
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how you may and may not use the Service. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to follow it.
02Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including Canadian tax, privacy, anti-spam, securities, and sanctions laws.
- Use the Service to defraud, deceive, or mislead any person or authority, including the Canada Revenue Agency.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any connected system without our prior written consent.
- Access accounts, data, or systems that you are not authorized to access.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages or material that would violate the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation or equivalent law.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond what is expressly permitted by our published interfaces and robots directives.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code of the Service except where permitted by law.
- Use the Service to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models intended to compete with the Service.
- Share your account credentials, resell access, or sub-license the Service.
- Generate a volume of requests, emails, or storage usage intended to degrade the Service for others.
03Prohibited content
You may not upload, store, or transmit through the Service any content that:
- Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening.
- Depicts or promotes child exploitation, violence, or illegal conduct.
- Contains malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm a system.
- Is designed to deceive or phish another person.
04Security research
We welcome responsible security research. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in the Service, please email legal@ledg.ca with a description and reproduction steps. Do not access data that is not your own, do not degrade the Service for other users, and give us reasonable time to respond before disclosing publicly.
05Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including warning, suspending, or terminating the account, removing the offending content, and reporting the activity to law enforcement where appropriate. Repeated or serious violations will result in permanent termination.
06Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Ledg in a way that violates this policy, please email legal@ledg.ca with enough detail for us to investigate.
