Why we build Ledg
We are building Ledg for people who run a business mostly on their own: sole proprietors, small companies, people who sell on Amazon or Shopify, freelancers.
For them, the books and the paperwork of a business take hours that belong to the business itself. Receipts, sales tax, deadlines, annual filings, company records. We want all of it handled, correctly and without fuss, so they can get back to the work only they can do.
Where we want to go next
The books are where we start. Next, we want to bring the people who use Ledg together, so they can share what they learn about running a business in Canada.
We want to help them find and claim what is already there for them, from government programs to what banks, larger companies and investors offer. And we want to make Canada an easier place to start something ambitious, so more forward-looking businesses are built here.
